POSITION SUMMARY
Our Finance group plays a critical role in our ability to successfully and accurately forecast and then implement plans for our business. Here, you'll work together and with leaders of other business units to help us determine the financial integrity of plans. You'll also reach out to other business leaders to support the planning process, provide analytical support, analyze economic indicators and view outcomes at both a macro and micro level.

- Bachelor's degree in a finance related field

RESPONSIBILITIES >>
- Responsible for performing routine and complex financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision making
- Assists various Business Finance Managers with finance and accounting issues, research and analysis during annual strategic planning process
- Performs business specific exception reporting for regular business reviews with buying teams and senior management
- Responsible for ensuring corporate controls are executed within the various business units
- Assembles data, reporting, and recommendations on ad hoc analysis requested by finance, merchandising, and senior management
- Develops, NPV, break-even and ROI analysis info on various merchandise projects
POTENTIAL CAREER PATH >>
The potential progression from the position of Finance Analyst is to a Sr. Finance Analyst then to a Business Finance Manager within any of our Finance Departments. There are also cross-functional opportunities to move into such as Inventory Management, Merchandise Operations and other departments within Sears.
