Home Services is a key competitive advantage for our business, and a great area for undergrads to gain both strategic and operational experience in a growing business. Our delivery, installation, and repair businesses support the customer after the sale and help determine whether they come back to Sears for their next purchase; our home improvement and commercial sales businesses are entrepreneurial teams that provide additional services to our customers. You will have opportunities to work with call centers and front-line technicians, develop new service offerings, and optimize supply chain and route logistics for the nation's largest product repair services provider.

RESPONSIBILITIES >>
Our interns spend their time working in our corporate office or, seeing first-hand what goes into a successful retail business. You will be assigned specific projects throughout the 12-week internship. You will learn how to identify project value to the business, review and make recommendations on process flows that impact the customer experience and further develop your analytical skills. As a member of the Home Services team, your goal as an intern will be to provide support to business owners to establish and support strategic business direction. Your internship will include project work that will be assessed through formal and informal evaluations. This project work will allow you to apply what you've learned in the classroom in a business setting. Upon successful completion of your internship, you may receive an offer to permanently join our Home Services team!
