POSITION SUMMARY
You'll receive hands-on experience right where the action is - current Human Resource practices, polices, programs and processes to support the corporate and/or field locations as well as gaining insight into the overall Human Resource function. This 12-week assignment is designed to give you a feel for the retail industry and the culture of Sears Holdings. This position provides a good foundation for many future positions within our businesses. Associates learn how human resource supports all operations including process and procedures development, analysis of current practices and communication; they gain a wealth of knowledge across a number of different assignments within the human resource function.

RESPONSIBILITIES >>
Our interns spend their time working in our corporate office, seeing first-hand what goes into a successful retail business. You will be assigned specific projects throughout the 12-week internship. You will learn how to analyze current processes, provide reporting and measurement metrics and make recommendations on appropriate implementation strategies related to the human resource function. Your internship will include project work that will be assessed through formal and informal evaluations; these projects will allow you to apply what you've learned in the classroom in a business setting. Upon successful completion of your internship, you may receive an offer to join our Human Resource Organization.
