POSITION SUMMARY
You'll get hands-on experience right where the action is - current Field Training practices, polices, programs and processes to support the store operations team and field locations as well as gaining insight into the overall Field Training function. This 12-week assignment is designed to give you a feel for the retail industry and the culture of Sears Holdings. This position provides a good foundation for many future positions within our businesses. Associates learn how the field training team supports field operations including process and procedures development, analysis of current practices and communication to the field; they gain a wealth of knowledge across a number of different assignments within the field training function.

RESPONSIBILITIES >>
Interns will spend their time working in our corporate office, seeing first-hand what goes into a successful retail business. Specific projects related to training and associate development will be assigned throughout the 12-week internship. You will learn how to analyze current processes and programs and, provide input and make recommendations to improve those programs. As a member of the field training team in store operations, your goal will be to assist in developing various training deliverable and determine metrics for success. You may be asked to work on leadership development modules, workshops, product knowledge, and compliance topics. Upon successful completion of your internship, you may receive an offer to join our Field Training Team - Store Operations Organization.
