PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Sears Holdings Corporation is looking for Technology Analysts who will work closely with the IT and Online teams on special technology projects and initiatives through two or more rotations.
You will be part of the Technology Analyst Program (TA), a two-year program that prepares recent undergraduates who have a passion for technology and a drive for technical brilliance, to rapidly impact the business within critical technology-based roles at Sears Holdings.
The Technology Analysts are strategically developed through a combination of diverse rotational assignments, targeted training, senior-leadership mentorship, results-enabled projects, and continuous coaching and development. At the end of the rotations, TA's will be placed in permanent roles in that will be aligned with their skills, interests and background as well as the strategic vision of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS >>
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong academic performance and involvement in extracurricular activities; GPA of 3.0 and above
- Understanding of eCommerce technologies, vendor product availability, mobile applications and mobile websites
- Technical Proficiency: ability to understand and effectively utilize spreadsheets, financial systems, and complex relational databases by leveraging advanced PC-based skill set.
Skills:
Superior knowledge programming languages like, Java, .Net, Oracle, etc.
Capacity and excellent coding efficiency
Knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix OS
Excellent programming skills and software design
Expertise and mastery in at least one programming language
Knowledge of SQL

RESPONSIBILITIES >>
Technology Analysts collaborate with departments across the organization to develop innovative technology solutions which drive business results. Some examples of potential projects include; the chance to work on unique and innovative solutions on Mobile platforms (Android, iPhone/iPad, Blackberry); delivering high-level technical requirements/scope to meet business needs; or employ SEO, Machine Learning, Traffic Analytics, Data Mining and other disciplines to optimize and grow our expansive online retail sales catalog.
