PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Sears Holdings company business structure creates a portfolio of Business Units that are treated as separate entities unique with the Holdings Company as the owner. Opportunities exist for top talent Masters/MBA students to join Sears Holdings Corporation (SHC), regardless of the discipline in which you want to work. The BUILD - Business Unit Integrated Leadership Development Internship is a 10-week program for Masters/MBA students who are looking to make an immediate impact within a specific business unit. The BUILD Intern Program is designed to develop strong potential leaders and establish the skill sets needed for rapid career growth. The program's goal is to help accelerate your career development into a full-time role.

RESPONSIBILITIES >>
- Planning: Develop realistic plans, action steps, accountabilities and timetables for projects and assignments. Meet deadlines and produce high-quality work. Be proactive and take ownership for ensuring the right actions are taken and results achieved. Take the lead in performing tasks and promoting innovative ideas or work methods.
- Project Management: Establish and manage timeline, resource needs, costs and risks associated with project completion. Accomplish tasks while demonstrating concern for all areas involved, accurately check processes, tasks and work output. Be well-organized and thorough in approach. Multi-task, follow through on open issues, and ensure that nothing is overlooked.
- Analysis: Use analytical techniques to improve decision making: modeling, situation analysis and problem diagnosis, and results/operations analysis. Critically analyze complex problems to find root causes and efficient solutions. Evaluate systems and processes to make improvements.
- Development: Develop strategies to gain support on business initiative recommendations.
