Sears Holdings Names Louis Ramery as Senior Vice President, Relationship Marketing

Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD) announced today that Louis Ramery will join the company as senior vice president, customer relationship marketing (CRM) for Sears and Kmart. Ramery comes to Sears Holdings from Digitas, where he led the firm's global Marketing Capability, its Loyalty and CRM practice and served as a Relationship Leader on key accounts.

Ramery, who will have overall responsibilities for developing and executing the Sears Holdings' relationship marketing strategies and programs, will report to Maureen McGuire, Sears Holdings' Chief Marketing Officer.

"Lou will be charged with helping to optimize our customers' experiences by developing and strengthening relationships between our brands and our customers, thereby enabling us to better understand and anticipate their unique needs and desires, and to develop innovative multi-channel programs providing relevant communications and solutions throughout their changing life stages," said McGuire.

Ramery has an extensive background in integrated marketing, CRM, and customer loyalty program development from both the client and agency services perspectives having worked and consulted on numerous loyalty programs.

Prior to his seven years with Digitas, Ramery served as executive vice president, marketing and planning for Brierley & Partners, a leading loyalty marketing agency, where he helped launch and was chief marketing officer for the Internet-based customer rewards program e-Rewards.

Before his client services career; Ramery served in various senior marketing and strategic planning corporate positions, including: vice president, marketing for PepsiCo Food Systems Worldwide and at Continental Airlines as regional vice president, Latin America; vice president, international marketing; and vice president, strategic business units. During his tenure at Continental, Lou was a key member of the executive team that engineered one of the airline industry's most successful corporate turnarounds. He additionally served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Travel Industry Association of America.

A graduate of Fordham University with a B.S. in Marketing, Ramery earned his M.B.A. from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

  Ramery will join Sears Holdings on November 5th.
