Television personality -- and Sears' Master Wish Maker -- Ty Pennington, will unveil a larger-than-life Wish Book Catalog in New York's Times Square on November 19 to welcome this year's wish-granting season. "This is my favorite time of the year," says Pennington, "and this year is extra special because I love to grant wishes, and that is what the Wish Book Catalog is all about."

The 188-page catalog features a selection of gift ideas from all product categories at Sears, including toys, apparel, jewelry, appliances, tools and holiday items in a contemporary design and format that are tailored to today's lifestyles and shopping habits.

"We want to recreate the excitement everyone used to feel on the day the Wish Book Catalog arrived and inspire shoppers to grant the wishes of everyone on their lists," said Richard Gerstein, Senior Vice President and Sears' Chief Marketing Officer. "The wide assortment of products was carefully chosen to span all the possibilities of gift-giving that are available today -- innovative products, interesting designs, and festive attire."

The catalog complements other Sears channels by highlighting key items that are available in additional styles or colors online or in-store. It also features items that are "Ready in 5," which are products that can be ordered online and picked up at the store of the customer's choice less than 5 minutes after the customer arrives.

The front section of the catalog, which is designed to highlight innovative products and showcase the depth and breadth of the gift selection at Sears, includes gift ideas sorted by theme, such as "Gifts for the Do-it-yourselfer" or "The Inner Athlete." The back section of the book features toys and video games. The catalog also features an expanded assortment of catalog- and internet-exclusive products.

"We want our customers to remember that Sears has a great gift-giving solution for everyone on their lists," said Gerstein. "A Craftsman personalized wrench set for Dad, beautiful jewelry for your mother-in-law, a portable Weber grill for your college student, a Cheetah Girls jacket for your 8-year-old, stunning holiday place settings to inspire your own decorating ... The possibilities are endless!"

The 2007 Sears Wish Book Catalog will be available to customers during the first week of October. The new, smaller Wish Book Catalog will be distributed to fewer customers, and it is available online to encourage the use of less paper.
