Sears to Webcast From Merrill Lynch Conference

Alan J. Lacy, chairman and chief executive officer of Sears, Roebuck and Co. (NYSE: S), will present at the Merrill Lynch 26th Annual Global Retailing Leaders' Conference at 8:40 a.m. EST Wednesday, March 19 in New York City.

The presentation will be webcast live over the Internet at http://www.sears.com/investors . From the Investor Relations page, select "Events and Webcasts." A replay of the presentation will be available on the Web site for approximately one week.
