Kmart Completes Four SuperCenter Expansions In Indianapolis
Kmart Corporation (NYSE: KM) today announced the expansion of four Big Kmart stores to Kmart SuperCenters in Indianapolis, Indiana. The stores, located at 3585 Commercial Drive; 6780 West Washington Street; 7425 East Washington Street and 2715 Madison Avenue, are the first Kmart SuperCenters in the Indianapolis market. All four stores will make their official "re-grand" opening as Kmart SuperCenters on Saturday, July 20 and begin a four-week-long series of special events and giveaways.
Kmart SuperCenters combine the general merchandise selection and value of a traditional Kmart with a full-service grocery store 24-hours-a-day, seven- days-a week. Each of the remodeled Indianapolis stores added more than 25,000 square feet of retail space with only minimal physical change to the store's actual structure.

Over the next four weeks, each store will host a variety of exciting events in celebration of the openings. Free product samples, a Coke Scavenger Hunt Game and appearances by JOE BOXER's "Mr. Licky" and Kmart's own Bluelight Characters will be part of the festivities.
Kmart operates 105 retail outlets in the State of Indiana including seven Kmart SuperCenters. Statewide, Kmart employs more than 5,000.
