Kmart Names Lawrence Hruska Vice President, Pharmacy
Kmart Corporation (NYSE: KM) today announced the promotion of Lawrence Hruska, 50, to Vice President, Pharmacy, effective immediately. Reporting directly to Tony Montini, Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager, Drug Store Business, Hruska will be responsible for overseeing the operations, marketing and managed care functions of 1,593 Kmart pharmacies.
With more than 20 years of pharmacy experience, Hruska joined Kmart in July as Director of Pharmacy Marketing. He came to Kmart from RX.com, Inc., where he held the post of Senior Vice President, Operations, overseeing operations, procurement, merchandising, facilities management and security operations. Hruska also developed a pharmacy Web site and state-of-the-art pharmacy fulfillment operation for the company. Prior to his work at RX.com, Inc., Hruska held posts at K&B, Inc., Phar-Mor, Inc., Reliable Drug Stores, Inc. and Rite Aid Corporation.
