Sears Holdings Names Norman Miller To Lead Automotive Business Unit

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Feb. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sears Holdings (NASDAQ: SHLD) announced today that Norman Miller will join the company as senior vice president and president, Automotive. Mr. Miller most recently served as president and COO of Dollar Financial Corp. In his new role with Sears Holdings, Mr. Miller will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of the company's automotive business, including Sears Auto Centers.

Prior to Dollar Financial, Mr. Miller held the position of group president, Sports and Entertainment unit at Aramark, where he worked for a decade. He was named to the role after serving as the president of the company's Correctional Services unit from 2002 to 2003.  Mr. Miller's career also includes nine years with Nestle, Kraft General Foods and PepsiCo, serving in management positions in sales, marketing and operations.  

Mr. Miller received a Bachelor's of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point.  Upon graduating he served as a captain in the U.S. Army for five years.
