Sears Holdings Ranked Third in Multichannel Retailer Web Traffic

Sites continue to offer innovative online tools that provide customers with value, choices and convenience, just in time for the holidays

Sears Holdings continues its strong leadership in the multichannel retailer space. Today, Sears Holdings announced it was ranked third in overall Web traffic for a multichannel store retailer for the week ending Nov. 28, 2009*, which included Black Friday. Web traffic numbers show that shoppers have been getting their electronics, toys, jewelry, holiday decorations and clothing through the great value, choices and convenience of Sears.com, Kmart.com, LandsEnd.com and TheGreatIndoors.com this holiday season.

"We've experienced a record number of people engaged with the Sears ShopYourWayâ„¢ multichannel platform this Black Friday and on Cyber Monday, which proves we provide customers with the tools needed to easily find whatever they need when they need it," said Imran Jooma, senior vice president for Online at Sears Holdings. "Use of mobile phone orders were also on the rise and further evidence that we're offering an exceptional online experience that is clearly transforming the way our customers shop."

Customers can seamlessly browse many of the Sears Holdings Web sites all from one convenient location through the ease of integrated navigational tabs located at the top of each home page. Customers can also utilize a single login among the sites, making it easy to update profile preferences and simplifying the buying process.

An integrated checkout creates a one-stop shopping experience so that customers can find whatever they want across Sears.com and Kmart.com. Customers can also select from a variety of new payment choices such as PayPal, eBillme, and online Layaway, making purchasing holiday gifts a smooth and convenient process.

"We are always listening to and acting on the feedback from our customers, including community members on MySears and MyKmart. As a result, we are making enhancements to create an improved shopping environment," said Jooma. "Through the customer ideas submitted via community forums, new functionality and features continue to be added to the online shopping experience."

Product discussions can be viewed in the communities or on the product detail pages on Sears.com and Kmart.com.

They don't need to go anywhere else."
