"Ready in 5" Curbside Service Makes Holiday Shopping Stress-Free

Today Sears announced an expansion of the "Ready in 5" program unveiled last holiday season. Now, customers can order items marked with the "Ready in 5" icon online and pick them up at the store within five minutes of arriving, without ever getting out of their vehicles.

"Whether you just don't feel like looking for a parking space at a crowded mall, or have a baby asleep in the car, the improved 'Ready in 5' service is just one way we are making holiday shopping easier for our customers," said Paul Miller, senior vice president of Direct Commerce, Sears Holdings.

Thousands of Sears items are marked with the "Ready in 5" icon, which guarantees easy and fast at-store pickup when ordered online. Shoppers can spend time granting wishes for loved ones in the comfort of their home on, and then pick up within minutes of arriving at their nearest Sears store.

Other tools launching on to simplify holiday shopping include a new "Gift Finder" feature that helps customers choose gifts searching by personality type, interests, product category and price range. Sears also now has a "Letters to Santa" feature to help parents grant wishes for their children and improved Wish List functionality.
