Sears.Com Shipping Deadlines Fast Approaching, Buy On-Line, Pick Up in Store Option Still Open
With nearly half of this year's holiday shoppers using the Web to research gift ideas and making purchases on-line, Sears is reminding its on-line customers they have until Dec. 17 to place orders and ensure their gifts arrive in time through standard shipping. Buy on-line, pick up in store customers can shop as late as Dec. 23.
That deadline also applies to a free shipping mail-in rebate offer on items that qualify for normal UPS shipping charges (most items weighing less than 70 pounds) ordered on sears.com. After Dec. 17, delivery of orders placed on sears.com are not guaranteed to arrive for the holidays through standard shipping due to the enormous volume of packages mailed this month. Sears customers have until Dec.19 to use expedited or premium shipping alternatives.
Customers who don't have to ship items may have more flexibility. They can order on-line as late as Dec. 23 and, depending on product availability, arrange to pick up their purchases until Dec. 24 at local Sears stores. Customers can visit sears.com for more information on this option.
