Chairs Make State Street Debut From October 12 Through November 5 to Benefit
Chicago Charities WHAT: Sears on State will display 16 one-of-a-kind chairs signed by local and national celebrities in its State Street store windows. The chairs, among more than 100 others, will be auctioned at the 12th annual Celebrity Charity Chair Auction on November 15. Proceeds will benefit five local charities including: Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, Chicago Communities in Schools, The Children's Place Association and the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Foundation. Sears on State Downtown Neighborhood Campaign is the presenting sponsor of the event. The Celebrity Charity Chair Auction will take place November 15, 2001, from 6-10 p.m. in the Gold Coast Room at The Drake Hotel.
