Sears Essentials is a new, integrated format that brings customers the best of Sears and Kmart in a meaningful, relevant way.

Sears Essentials is a unique entry into the off-mall retail setting based on its ability to offer customers convenient, everyday solutions for home and family needs. In other words, Sears Essentials will provide customers with top picks of the durable, quality products for which Sears is known and the everyday national brands for which Kmart is known.

The one-level stores, which average 70,000-100,000 square feet, contain everything from milk to refrigerators, lawnmowers to fertilizer and car seats to baby food. Specific product categories include: apparel, appliances, lawn and garden, tools, sporting goods, toys, baby care, cleaning supplies, home/seasonal décor, pantry items, pet food, auto care supplies, cards and party supplies, books, magazines and electronics, (TVs, CDs, DVDs, games).

Varied by store, shoppers can also find convenient services, including an auto service center, café, garden center, optical center, pharmacy and/or photo studio.
